Job Description
Qualified Early Years Educator L 2/3
Location: Tooting SW17
Salary: £26,000 per annual
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is looking for a enthusiastic and friendly Qualified Early Years Educator (L2 or L3) for various nursery settings in Tooting, Balham, Wandsworth and the Wimbledon area.
About The Nurseries:
- We are open 51 week of the year, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 6:30pm.
- Our nurseries are well equipped in bright stimulating environments.
- High work ethics, with fun, exciting atmosphere and great team spirits.
- All nurseries are in good locations (with good links to public transport)
Ideal Candidate
- Passionate: A genuine interest in nurturing and educating young children.
- Engaging: Skilled at creating a fun, safe, and stimulating environment.
- Reliable: Professional and punctual in attending bookings.
- Team player.
- Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
- Ability to use initiative.
Main Responsibilities:
- To be key person to a group of children.
- To observe and to track children’s development.
- To plan and carry out age appropriate activities for children.
- To provide a safe and secure environment for the children.
- To be aware of safeguarding procedures.
- To follow our policies and procedures.
Requirement Skills:
- Must have a L2 or L3 Early Year Qualification.
- A good understanding of the EYFS
- Good knowledge of Ofsted requirements for the provision of safe care to children
- Be Professional, enthusiastic and hard working.
- Have Confident communication skill with children and adults.
- Have the ability to work as part of a team.
- Good organisational, record keeping and planning skills
- Maintaining child records and providing feedback to parents/carers and colleagues
- A positive approach to learning and gaining new skills through teamwork and training opportunities
- We provide First Aid, Health & Safety and Safeguarding Training.
- Basic IT skills
