Job Description

Qualified Early Years Educator L 2/3

Location: Tooting SW17

Salary: £26,000 per annual

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

We are recruiting on behalf of our client who is looking for a enthusiastic and friendly Qualified Early Years Educator (L2 or L3) for various nursery settings in Tooting, Balham, Wandsworth and the Wimbledon area.

About The Nurseries:
  • We are open 51 week of the year, Monday to Friday, 7:30am to 6:30pm.
  • Our nurseries are well equipped in bright stimulating environments.
  • High work ethics, with fun, exciting atmosphere and great team spirits.
  • All nurseries are in good locations (with good links to public transport)
Ideal Candidate
  • Passionate: A genuine interest in nurturing and educating young children.
  • Engaging: Skilled at creating a fun, safe, and stimulating environment.
  • Reliable: Professional and punctual in attending bookings.
  • Team player.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
  • Ability to use initiative.
Main Responsibilities:
  • To be key person to a group of children.
  • To observe and to track children’s development.
  • To plan and carry out age appropriate activities for children.
  • To provide a safe and secure environment for the children.
  • To be aware of safeguarding procedures.
  • To follow our policies and procedures.
Requirement Skills:
  • Must have a L2 or L3 Early Year Qualification.
  • A good understanding of the EYFS
  • Good knowledge of Ofsted requirements for the provision of safe care to children
  • Be Professional, enthusiastic and hard working.
  • Have Confident communication skill with children and adults.
  • Have the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Good organisational, record keeping and planning skills
  • Maintaining child records and providing feedback to parents/carers and colleagues
  • A positive approach to learning and gaining new skills through teamwork and training opportunities
  • We provide First Aid, Health & Safety and Safeguarding Training.
  • Basic IT skills
